How "HOT" is your tongue?

Mine is hottest! :)

At the beginning of November, I went on Marching Band Tour to California. We went to many places and had loads of fun!!

We stayed at an absolutely beautiful hotel where we enjoyed the beautiful courtyard and bedrooms.

We also had a blast at Disneyland where we stayed an entire day! I love the magical feeling and fun rides!!

My family took a trip to East Canyon in the fall and got lots of beautiful pictures.

This one reminded me of Narnia without the snow!It had just snowed so the trees were covered with a thin layer of snow at the peak of the mountain.
Life is a Highway! :)

Hope you enjoyed my mini short version of the past couple months!

My life....

Hey howdy hey everyone!! What a great day it is! Since I haven't posted news for a while, I thought I'd cover it all! I'm going to be brief, so if you have any questions, just comment and I'll answer back!! :) Okay? Good. Marching band is officially wrapped up, with two first places, one at Bingham and one at USU. We took a marching band tour to Riverside, CA, Anaheim, and Balboa Beach. I had a BLAST!! We spent one whole day in Disneyland, my home away from home! ;) I loved it. School's going along okay, with many hard classes and many great friends. I recently helped fill in for my sister in our school production, Fiddler on the Roof! It was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Our first major snow was Sunday, with some minor layers before. I'm excited for the snow and the beauty that comes with it, but the cold and the earliness is quite surprising! :) Bingham High School's football team won the 5A State Championship last Friday beating Davis High School! We did amazing and I am so proud to be a Miner!! Our school is officially 101 years old! :) How cool is that? Halloween was wonderful. We had a competition that day where we won one of our 1st places! I then went trick-or-treating as a clown with my friend and her little sister! We had a blast! I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving and the mountains of food that await! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Second Place!

Hey Ya'll! Just thought I'd let you know that last night during my marching band competition at Davis High School, our band took second place in our class (4A)!! We were so so happy after two third places. Plus, we were beat by .25 points! In marching band that's like a tie because .25 is like someone wiggled or blinked out of turn! :) So the .25 was mainly the tie breaker! We felt so proud of ourselves! We never thought we could even get close to the normal first place band! Plus we won two of the four captions. We won Outstanding Visual and Outstanding Percussion! Our drum line is third over all in the state! And our band is in the top five!! How AWESOME is that! We did amazing and are working hard so on Saturday, our next competition, we can place FIRST!! GO BHS Marching Miner Band!!! YAY!! :)

Marching Band and Eagle Court

Hello everyone! It's great to be back to the blogging world!! I just got back from marching band and it was tiring but rewarding none the less! On Saturday, we had our first competition at Payson where we placed third in our class! We didn't do our best and there were quite a few mistakes so we could have easily placed second or even first if we tried hard enough! We did great though! We have a football game on Wednesday against Copper Hills High School where we will be performing our pregame march and our halftime show! It'll be a blast as always!! Also, coming up, is my Eagle Court of Honor! On October 14 at 7:00, I will be receiving my award. There will be a cool Eagle presentation with the Hogle Zoo bird manager guy! :) It'll be fun. So if you are family and would like to attend let me know and I will look forward to seeing you there! We'll also be sending around invitations. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to make the second edition of Summer Fun, but it will, come....eventually! :) Have a great day everyone and keep smiling!!
P.S. I saw UP on Friday for my second time and I absolutely loved it!!!!! If you haven't seen it yet, GO SEE IT! :)

Summer Fun!

This summer has been such a blast I wanted to share the fun with you! Here are a couple of fun things I have done this summer!

Manti Pageant

In June, my cousins Laura and Arianne were in the Manti Pageant! We traveled up to Manti and stayed with my grandparents in their trailer. It was so cool to see my cousins have so much faith to act out the Book of Mormon stories. I look up to them and hope I can be in it next year!Kaylor's Eagle Court of Honor

Kaylor recieved his Eagle in June. It is such a great accomplishment and motivated me to get my project done! Congrats! My Eagle Project

My Eagle project was a great experience! With help from many volunteers, I made blankets and educational brochures for a dentist who is going to India to work on the teeth of children in a leper colony. It was amazing to do something that would impact others from around the world!4th of July Party

Probably one of the highlights of my summer! All the cousins and family came together for a wonderfully fun 4th of July Sleepover and Picnic! It was so much fun!! Pictures courtesy of Kimberly!

HARRY POTTER!

To celebrate the soon to come out Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, we have been having a Harry Potter marathon! Tomorrow at 1 (pm, oh well) we will be seeing it! I am so excited!!

Lagoon

Probably one of my favorite places is Lagoon! The first time I went this summer is with my friends and school for Lagoon Day! I had a blast then! The second time was a couple days ago with my friend for Stake Lagoon Day! I loved both times and had a blast!

Friends and Family

Thanks to all my friends and family for an absolutely great beginning of summer! Without you guys, summer wouldn't be any fun! Sorry if I forgot any other fun events! Let me know and they will be featured in the next issue of Summer Fun!

Hello!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the slumber! Just awakening from hibernation! These last couple months have been very busy considering the end of the quarter and the amount of homework trying to get A's! I did it! I am so happy! Life is going good with many surprises round every corner! The snow is clearing up (YAY!!) and the first signs of spring are coming! Flower buds are coming up and grass is turning green! Days are getting warmer, but still quite chilly with the wind! Recently I have been assigned a seminary project based on Romans 1:16. I made a powerpoint and drew a picture! (Drew drew a picture! haha) Well, that's my update! Here are some recent pictures! A lot of fun at East Canyon playing with the carpet!
