Summer Fun!

This summer has been such a blast I wanted to share the fun with you! Here are a couple of fun things I have done this summer!

Manti Pageant

In June, my cousins Laura and Arianne were in the Manti Pageant! We traveled up to Manti and stayed with my grandparents in their trailer. It was so cool to see my cousins have so much faith to act out the Book of Mormon stories. I look up to them and hope I can be in it next year!Kaylor's Eagle Court of Honor

Kaylor recieved his Eagle in June. It is such a great accomplishment and motivated me to get my project done! Congrats! My Eagle Project

My Eagle project was a great experience! With help from many volunteers, I made blankets and educational brochures for a dentist who is going to India to work on the teeth of children in a leper colony. It was amazing to do something that would impact others from around the world!4th of July Party

Probably one of the highlights of my summer! All the cousins and family came together for a wonderfully fun 4th of July Sleepover and Picnic! It was so much fun!! Pictures courtesy of Kimberly!

HARRY POTTER!

To celebrate the soon to come out Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, we have been having a Harry Potter marathon! Tomorrow at 1 (pm, oh well) we will be seeing it! I am so excited!!

Lagoon

Probably one of my favorite places is Lagoon! The first time I went this summer is with my friends and school for Lagoon Day! I had a blast then! The second time was a couple days ago with my friend for Stake Lagoon Day! I loved both times and had a blast!

Friends and Family

Thanks to all my friends and family for an absolutely great beginning of summer! Without you guys, summer wouldn't be any fun! Sorry if I forgot any other fun events! Let me know and they will be featured in the next issue of Summer Fun!

Hello!

Hello everyone! Sorry for the slumber! Just awakening from hibernation! These last couple months have been very busy considering the end of the quarter and the amount of homework trying to get A's! I did it! I am so happy! Life is going good with many surprises round every corner! The snow is clearing up (YAY!!) and the first signs of spring are coming! Flower buds are coming up and grass is turning green! Days are getting warmer, but still quite chilly with the wind! Recently I have been assigned a seminary project based on Romans 1:16. I made a powerpoint and drew a picture! (Drew drew a picture! haha) Well, that's my update! Here are some recent pictures! A lot of fun at East Canyon playing with the carpet!

Sorry for the long time without writing! I haven't had the chance to get to post anything. Here is a recap of the last couple months. I had a wonderful Christmas. I had a great time remembering the true meaning of Christmas! I loved the holiday spirit! Happy New Year to you all! I went to the stake dance that night and had a great time! That day I spent some time with my cousins! I love them so much! School has been boring and hard, but I'll get through it. I just recently registered for High School! YAY!! I am excited to have only 3 years left of grade school! Also recently I performed in the school talent show. It was an absolutely amazing and gratifying experience! I loved to hear the congrats and see the smiles. I played Waterfall by Jon Schmidt. It was wonderful!

Snow!!

Just today, we got snow! It was a lot of fun! When I woke up, there was already at least an inch or more of snow! It was really exciting! It might as well have been Christmas! There are Christmas songs on the radio, decorations is stores, and snow! The only thing missing was Santa. I told some of my friends Merry Christmas and they just looked at me funny. haha! It was snowing most of the day and my brother went and played in the snow while I was at school. Then later in the day, he went to show me what he did, and it was destroyed! We fixed it, but it wasn't as cool as before! Stinkin' kids!

It was also really weird to see flowers covered in snow and trees with leaves covered in snow also. Where ever there was a tree, there was a pile of leaves underneath it lying on the ground! Many of our flowers were still there, so I got a couple of pictures.

At about 8:00, my brother and I went and played in the snow. It was my first time playing in the snow while it was dark. It was really cool. I asked him if I could bury him in the snow. He said yes so I started piling it on him! It was really funny when I was done. I put a couple of leaves on him for fun. He got cold, so I took a couple of pictures and he broke out. It wasn't easy though.
After that, we were both cold so we went inside and had some hot chocolate and cider. Yum! What a great way to spend a day full of snow!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I love the scary sounds and stories and the eerie decorations and treats. I had school off yesterday so I got to do many things. My family and I watched Watcher in the Woods. We then carved pumpkins and made some fun treats. My Grandma and Grandpa came over and we ate some yummy chowder! I then went to my friend's house and we went trick-or-treating and got a lot of candy! We had hot chocolate, watched a movie, ate some chips and root beer floats, and had a great time! I missed going out in my neighborhood with my siblings, but I had a ton of fun!
I hope you all had a wonderful time! When I get my camera to work, I will get some pictures so you can see my pumpkins and my costume!
